Hi, I’m Dominique.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate, supervised by Dr. Megha Pulianda, Phd, LPC-S.

I help teens and young adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, identity development, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

I approach therapy from an integrative perspective, using Adlerian and strengths-based techniques. My clients might feel like they are at a crossroads, stuck in a loop, or burdened with something too heavy to handle alone. I work together with my clients to understand their past or present experiences and how these influence their current behaviors and beliefs. My aim is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their identities and goals.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Texas and completed specialized training in trauma-informed care, working with adolescents, and evidence-based practices.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Texas A&M University, where I developed a foundation for approaching each individual from a holistic perspective. Combining this with my therapeutic approach, Anthropology and Counseling inform my belief in the importance of understanding each client through their lived experiences, including cultural, environmental, societal, and other factors.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading fiction, getting outdoors, and working off stress in a good arcade. When I get the chance, I love solving jigsaw puzzles and spending time with my loved ones.

The Bottom Line:

I believe in the importance of meeting someone as they are and where they are to help build tools that support their emotional and social growth.
